6. Food Stamp Policy, July 15, 2021
The SNAP/Food Stamp Benefits office expects that the food be purchased and consumed by the individual who has been awarded the Snap/Food Stamp Benefit. They also request that we be able to prove that the food awarded was consumed by the person that received this benefit. For this reason, we will not allow any participant in the Discipleship33 Program to register for and receive SNAP/Food Stamps. There isn’t any way we can prove where the food goes once it is purchased. To not be able to prove this could be considered fraud and legal action could be taken against Discipleship33. If a participant is discovered with SNAP/Food Stamps while residing at Discipleship33, they will be removed from the property and all rights and privileges of being a part of this program are revoked. By signing this you agree to this policy. Remember, God provides our food. He always has and always will.
Matthew 6: 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
